Advanced Squad Leader .VSAV Setup Files

An exhaustive list of VASL setup files to get you started on a particular scenario. If you’re not familiar with how to use VASL to play Advanced Squad Leader, please start with the VASL 101 tutorials, then move on to the more advanced VASL 201 tutorials.

DISCLAIMER:

  • ALWAYS CHECK THE ACCURACY OF THESE SETUP FILES, OB, SETUP LOCATIONS, VC, ETC, ONCE YOU LOAD THEM INTO VASL!!! I can’t vouch for the accuracy or quality of all of these VASL setup files. Very few of these were created by me, and none have been verified by me (there are over 700 of them!).
  • Files that end with “vasl667” (etc) were created with that specific version of VASL. Others…who knows.
  • Same-name setups with different VASL versions may have different visual aesthetics.
  • Some of these setups use “VASL Templates,” (not to be mistaken with my Scenario Tables) which link to local computer image files for the person who set them up. So, most of those images will show broken image links when you load the scenario.
  • Some setups (try to) load MANY extensions you don’t have installed (they’ll scroll by when you load).
  • Scenarios that use my VASL Scenario Tables should work fine as those images link to a web server (the one you’re on now), not to local images on your HD.
