Slaughter at Ponyri (chapter SaP)
The savage fighting for Ponyri, dubbed A Timetable Disrupted, from 7 to 9 July 1943 during the Battle of Kursk. Its campaign runs six CG Dates, three days each split into an AM and PM CG Date, with a short Daytime Refit Phase standing in for the pause between them. Grenadier-Regiment 507 and 508, backed by Sturmgeschutz-Abteilung 244, pushed to seize the rail junction from dug-in Soviet defenders.
