Maschinengewehr 42
The Maschinengewehr 42, the German light machine gun of the war’s second half and a replacement for the costlier MG 34. It fired up to 1,200 rounds a minute, fast enough that Allied troops called it Hitler’s buzzsaw for the ripping noise it made. ASL gives it the German LMG counter: 3 firepower out to eight hexes, one Portage Point.
