ASL Rulebook
Shorthand for the Advanced Squad Leader Rulebook, because saying the whole thing out loud gets old fast. It’s the binder every ASL rule lives in, divided into chapters A through H plus W for the Korean War. Chapter A opens with the Index and Glossary, which is where you look up any term or abbreviation you don’t recognize.

Neal is a longtime gamer with experience in board games, pen-and-paper RPGs, collectible card games, and computer games. He first played Squad Leader in the late 1970s. After retiring, he returned to ASL and saw it as an opportunity to create tutorials and player aids to support new and returning players.
