Armor Piercing Composite Rigid (C8.11)
Special ammunition built around a tungsten core inside a light alloy body. Ordinary steel AP shot tended to shatter at the velocities needed against thick armor, and a solid tungsten round was too heavy for the breech to handle. The composite solved both problems. It’s shown as A# on the counter, and availability depends on the scenario’s date.
