ASL AAR: The Chocos (AP165)
On July 21, 1942, Japanese forces landed on the northern Papuan coast around Buna and Gona, as part of a plan to capture the strategically important town of Port Moresby via an overland advance along the Kokoda Track.
ASL AAR: The Drive For Taierzhuang (146)
The Japanese offensive in early 1938 was designed to link their northern force from Beijing with their central force from Nanjing. The two forces were to meet west of Xuzhou, thus severing the Lunghai corridor and the railroad which ran from the coast to Xian.
ASL AAR: The Sangshak Redemption (J150)
In March 1944 the Imperial Japanese Army invaded India from neighboring Burma. The small village of Sangshak was a northwest crossroad that led to the more significant target of Imphal only miles to the southwest, where Commonwealth forces had established defenses and supplies. British and Indian Gurkha moved in to hold back the Japanese invasion in this tiny corner of India.

ASL AAR: A Quick Strike (WO18)
Back to the steamy jungles of the PTO … and A Quick Strike is a good one. It’s amazing how the ASL Pacific Theater terrain tweaks and Japanese nationality can give such a complex game system a completely different feel.
ASL AAR: Knock Them Down! (StW-4)
We tackle the monster scenario 'Knock Them Down!' from LCP's Steelworks module. We think it played out fairly close to history. The Highlanders were unable to dig out the well-fortified Germans, and Tigers showed up early to wreak havoc on the British Shermans.
ASL AAR: Aiding the Local Constabulary (J164)
We all agreed, once the scenario had wrapped up, that 3 players was incredibly fun and offers a new ASL play experience to players who have used the system for years and decades.
ASL AAR: Lee’s Charge (J62)
Belgium ... January 1945 ... The Battle of the Bulge. Deep snow (E3.73) covers the fields and woods surrounding Coroie, Belgium, and Cpt. Robert E. Lee, D Company's commanding officer, moved across the fields flanked by two platoons of infantry in the woods to his right.
ASL AAR: ANZAC Boys (AP161)
For this scenario we dive into Action Pack #16, and play ANZAC Boys, a scenario where the Commonwealth ANZACs try to repulse the invading Germans on the island of Crete during Operation Merkur (Mercury).
ASL AAR: Drillo HG Reconquest (BR9)
Scott and I decided to venture to the island of Sicily and play a scenario from Advancing Fire’s new historical effort, Biazza Ridge (BR), focusing on battles during Operation Husky, the allied invasion of that island in July of 1943.
