Special Ops #12 Unboxing

Special Ops #12, the wargaming journal, from MMP has dropped. While not being a journal dedicated purely to ASL it often contains some ASL content in addition to articles about other games and usually a wargame itself. This time the wargame included is Warriors of England, a War of the Roses themed game. But we’re here for ASL … and ASL only. So I took some time and whipped up a video to help you decide if you want to pick this up for its ASL content.

Special Ops #12 contains the following ASL content:

• 2 ASL articles
  • Cracking the Code by Mark Stevens
  • A Look at 3rd Die ROF by Jim Bishop
• 2 ASLSK scenarios
  • Clay Pigeons of St. Lô by Scott Rowland
  • Cats Come Out to Play by Neal Ulen (yours truly)
• A mini-HASL map of Lysyanka, Ukraine (18 x 38 hexes)

• 3 ASL scenarios (all by Ken Dunn) played on the Lysyanka map
  • Frank’s Tanks
  • Quickly Toward the Bridge!
  • Key to the Rescue
• 1 traditional ASL scenario
  • Drava Epic by Ken Dunn

Check out the video to get all the details.
