Design: Neal Ulen | Javascript: Kai Glanz

A couple weeks ago I posted about using the VASL html templates I developed to spice up your scenarios with more info. The downside is that you need some basic knowledge of editing html and CSS do modify the code for you particular scenario. Not a skill that most people have. But, technology to the rescue!

Kai, the creator of asl-assist.net (go check it out!) volunteered to code the front end javascript that would automatically build my template based on simple user input from a web form. Perfect.

All the images are hosted on this site so you don’t have to worry about the graphics in the template, they will always update as long as your computer is connected to the internet.

I encourage you to give it a try at: https://asl-players.net/vasl-tables/

Below is an image showing what the results look like embedded in a VASL game. And the video at the bottom of the page is a tutorial on how to use it … but it’s no more difficult that typing the basic scenario into the form at the link just above.
