I might just have to go and purchase one of these. I presume that Ch H is searchable, with HTML links?
Yep, the entire RB is fully searchable and hyperlinked...all 700+ pages of it.
I might add that the eASLRB is every bit worth the price for the convenience alone. I open PDFs in Microsoft Edge. Unlike Abobe reader you can rotate pages, highlight sentences, make notes then save it. You can go back and erase the notes and highlights. If you open all the PDFs you use for gaming in the Edge browser they are readily available as tabs across the top of the browser. You can also save word files as PDFs. My 1st edition ASL binder, duct taped together, is now retired to the shelf. Defiantly purchase the eASLRB. It will open up a whole new world.
Just got the eASL rule book and I figured it would make getting Chapter H vehicle notes into VASL Templates a whole lot easier than scanning my hardcopy. However when I swipe across the text and images for a vehicle and save the copied element into Open Office the images do not come with.
What am I missing? Is this User Error?
My Foxit PDF reader has a "snapshot" tool. Windows also has on built in called "Snipping Tool". Both of these take snapshots fine for me, but I have no experience with Open Office.
Hi Neal
I am just using the left mouse button to swipe the pdf snippet. That captures the text just fine but doesn't pick up the counter images. From your comment seems like I need some third party tool to capture what I need.
