Short Introduction since this is my first post.
Like many of the introductions I have read here on the forum, I’m returning to the game after many years removed. I played Squad Leader in Junior High and High School. I decided to get back into the game now that I’m getting close to retirement so I purchased Starter Kits #1-4 to learn from the ground up. Been reading the rule book and watching online tutorial videos, which are such a big help, very much appreciate all the guys that take their time to produce these.
Anyway, I have a question that I think I know the answer too but just can’t seem to locate the information in the rule book. With buildings, is the TEM (+3:Concrete / +2 Wood) used if squads are firing at each other from inside the same building? Is there any LOS issues firing inside the same building?
Thanks!
Grant
TEM inside a building
Re: TEM inside a building
Not sure you picked a good picture for your questions, as those are row houses (black bars along the hexsides), so there's no LOS between those units.
But let's assume there are no black bars...
Unit A cannot see unit B (unless the building is a Factory which has open floors, n.a. in Starter Kit), so it cannot shoot at it.
If unit B is in hex F1 then A and B can fire at each other, and each are in +3 TEM.

My recon was poorly performed, never noticed the black lines, rookie! But you answered my question perfectly, thanks so much for the help Neal.
