Re: VASL game setup
Okay I see the VASL information table has been updated with reinforcement turns. Splendid. Thank you. Not a major issue but I'm setting up a game with a Russian force and a Partisan force with different ELR's. A "nice to have" would be provision for an optional second row of Nationality for each pl...

Re: Greetings from the Shenandoah Valley
Hello all, I am just getting back into ASL after a VERY long break. Say almost 30 years. It is nice to see a site dedicated to teaching new players the tricks and tips. Where is the best place to go to find an opponents wanted board? I am slowly making my way through the videos. Cheers, Andrew Welc...

Re: Salutations From Pennsylvania
Is this site dead? No, the forum just isn't very active. The ASL community is too spread out, in a bunch of siloed communities. And people are kind of stubborn to gather on one specific ASL forum. The only way for more people to begin using this forum is for there to be more activity. I've contempl...

Re: new formar videos
The long play version or the short AAR? Either way, that was one of the first videos I made so it's kind of rough.Prester John wrote: ↑Sun May 01, 2022 8:36 am And then for some reason your Retaking Vierville video came up on the list. A most interesting contrast but all good fun.

Re: new formar videos
Thanks, we'll probably stick with this longer format that allows for more detail/discussion.Prester John wrote: ↑Sat Apr 30, 2022 11:15 am cbf posting on Youtube, but I don't mind the new format
I just play your videos on Youtube on my TV so I'm watching them as I do stuff in the living room. So you don't need to run at a high pace.

Re: Downloading vlog files on MAC
I have noticed that there are several vlog files available and would like to download them. However, I have had no success so far. Any help will be most appreciated. On this page? https://asl-players.net/advanced-squad-leader-files-vlog/ Some browsers (Chrome especially) won't automatically downloa...
