BFP’s Bitterest Day Unboxing

If the PTO is your cup-o-tea … if caves and cave complexes get your dice ready to roll … if flamethrowing tanks get your blood warm … then Bitterest Day: The Battle for Sugar Loaf Hill should land squarely in your ASL wheelhouse! Bitterest Day is the latest offering from Bounding Fire Productions (BFP) who recently won our Counter Jamboree shootout.

This module is sure to deliver, re-enacting the bloody and costly early battle for Okinawa, Japan between the 6th Marine Division and forces of the Imperial Japanese Army in their last ditch effort to protect Japan from its inevitable fall.

Bitterest Day’s map is not your usual PTO fare. The area surrounding Bitter Loaf Hill is devoid of almost all normal ASL terrain, and any that existed before the battle was laid waste by U.S. Navy pre-bombardment. That’s a lot of Open Ground to cover. Plan wisely!

Here’s what you get …

Bitterest Day: The Battle for Sugar Loaf Hill contains:

• 9 action packed scenarios in full-color print covering actions, plus a 6-date Campaign Game
• 180 full color, die cut 1/2″ counters
• 64 full color, die cut 5/8″ counters
• One 27″ x 35″ HASL map sheet representing the historical situation around Sugar Loaf Hill on Okinawa, Japan in May, 1945
• Pages describing map terrain, special rules and play of the Campaign Game
• Campaign Game and Cave Play Aids
• A Bitterest Day divider card for quick reference
