This is a quick review of Critical Hit’s take on former Lt. Col Hal Moore’s first of many battles in Vietnam. The battle in the Ia Drang is now famous thanks to the 1992 book “We Were Soldiers” and the subsequent film in 2004 starring Mel Gibson. In this review I look at the map, helicopter rules, how they fit into the ASL rule set, and give my thoughts if Critical Hit Annual Issue #1 is worth purchasing or not.
