In a previous post, I unveiled the ASL Academy Command Post, a set of online/web-based tools that allow players to enjoy the game more and hopefully unlock their creativity. In this post, I provide a video on one of the more detailed and important parts of the CP … the ASL Academy Board Designer. Yes, now anyone can design their own ASL boards without special software or skill, print them out, or export them for VASL play with a single click.

Tired of paying exorbitant prices for pieces of cardboard? Create your own fully custom maps and print them yourself. Tired of relying on others to help you lay out or design a map? Nope! Easy peasy self-reliance is at your fingertips! Don’t know how maps and VASL works? No problemo, one click export to VASL!

You can find the Command Post here:

I’ll retain this short disclosure statement for this post as well. The things I do for the ASL game are done for free, to make the game more enjoyable and accessible for everyone. I do it because I love the game, not because I’m trying to profit from the ideas of others. I will never hide ideas, information, or tools from ASL players. ALL aspects of ASL should be open to ALL players. From learning the basics of ASLSK, to designing your own scenarios and/or boards.

To that end, the ASL Academy Command Post is FREE to use, and will forever be free to use.

Academy Out!
